I just ate lunch at a place called TacoTime. On their website and posters, they show all the '4 for $5' items being reasonably large. I chose that 'option', if you will, and selected a "Juan Pinto Bean" burrito, a "Small Mexi-Fries" (Small indeed), a "Crisp Taco," and a 22-oz soda. Everything EXCEPT the soda was WAY smaller than advertised. The Burrito was barely an inch across (no joke), the Mexi-Fries were merely tater-tots, and last but definitely least, the "Crisp taco" was about 2 inches tall, 1 inch through.
Here is a bit copied from their website:
Crisp Taco
Bigger and better than the rest. Seasoned lean ground beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce and diced tomatoes folded into a crispy corn taco shell. Make it a Deluxe Taco with sour cream (additional charge).
LIES! I wonder why they're not out of business, because if I could, I'd sue them for false advertising.
On the way out of the building, I saw a sign titled "Talk to the Owner!" giving the email of the "owner" (probably some low-paid office jock) for you to voice your complaint. The poster mentioned "We strive to meet or exceed your expectations of our Quality, Cleanliness, etc. here at TacoTime." I looked around, everything was hella dirty. I'm emailing that mofo.
