Re: freetime in ctwfusa
I edited some maps to have lower walls. This will be useful.
Now I just have to go through and edit about 100 more maps.

Re: freetime in ctwfusa
Thats sweet modis! so they're edited like that on your local system? sweet
Frosty, You can do screen shots on your mac easily. MACs DO NOT SUCK. I'll NEVER own another microshit computer again.
Frosty, go into your system preferences >> KEYBOARD >> KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS.
you might be able to do a mini shot by doing a FUNCTION F10 thing to show ONLY tron window and blurr the rest of your screen then do a quick screen shot with a short cut.

Re: freetime in ctwfusa
False. Mac's do not suck. Macs are good for gaming. Just gotta have the right one. Just like people buying alienware for gaming. I love my mac for the video, music, graphics abilities AND the ridiculous amount of fun features in it.
COMMAND + CONTROL + ALT and hit the number 8. Theres a bunch of neat little things they can do and I'm still finding out new ones.

Re: freetime in ctwfusa
I was playing as Player 1.
If you go to System Setup, Misc Stuff, Global Keyboard Configuration, there is a screenshot option that you can set to any key. For me, it made a new folder in C: instead of saving in the existing arma folder.
Here are the maps I edited*. v2
http://www.mediafire.com/?39ice2i6aqft8xp
If your using Windows, extract it to
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Armagetron\resource\automatic
and overwrite the old maps.
For Ubuntu, /usr/share/games/armagetronad/resource/included
For Mac, /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Armagetron Advanced/resource/automatic
If you didn't backup the maps and you don't like the changes, you can just delete them and it'll download the originals next time they come up in CTWF(or anywhere).
*I couldn't be bothered to pick out just the ones that I changed, so I included every map in each folder where I changed at least one. It shouldn't do anything unless you already edited some of them.

Re: freetime in ctwfusa
That first picture I showed had wall height=1. It looked a little bit low, so I changed them all to height=2. This is what it looks like now.

Two of the maps I added extra walls. Just ignore them, they're not solid. This one marks the center of the zone.

You might want to move the old maps or make a backup just in case.
If your using Windows, extract it to
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Armagetron\resource\automatic
and overwrite the old maps. I don't know where the other OSs save the maps.
